🛠️ Step 1: Unbox & Inspect

Carefully open your Trezor™ package. Inside, you should find:

• Your Trezor™ device
• USB cable (USB-C for Model T™)
• Recovery seed cards 🧾
• Quick start guide

Ensure the packaging is untampered. If anything looks suspicious, contact Trezor Support immediately.

🌐 Step 2: Visit Trezór.io/Start®

Go to Trezor.io/Start. Download and install Trezor Suite™, the official desktop app (compatible with Windows, macOS, and Linux). Then, connect your device via USB.

⚙️ Step 3: Install Firmware

If your device is brand new, it may not come with firmware installed. Trezor Suite™ will guide you to install the latest, secure version.

🔑 Step 4: Create or Recover a Wallet

You can:

• Create a new wallet for a fresh start
• Recover an existing wallet using your 12, 18, or 24-word seed

⚠️ Your recovery seed is only displayed on the device screen.

🧠 Step 5: Backup Your Recovery Seed

Write your recovery seed down carefully. Store it offline and never share or digitize it. This seed is your lifeline to your crypto.

✅ Step 6: Set a PIN

Create a secure PIN to protect your Trezor™ from unauthorized access.
